Tiffany Jimenez joined the Maricopa Ambulance team in March 2019 as a paramedic supervisor, supporting daily operations and field crews, patients, families, fire department partners and hospital customers. She was promoted in 2020 to her current role managing the company’s operations in the West Valley, including the cities of Glendale, Goodyear and Surprise.
Tiffany began her career in EMS as an EMT, working as an emergency department technician at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Phoenix. She joined AMR’s Southwest Ambulance Division in 2013 as a paramedic and worked in 911 EMS operations. During her time there, she was a member of the FEMA Disaster Response Team, deploying to hurricanes Harvey and Irma in Texas and Florida, respectively. In 2017, Tiffany joined Denver Health Paramedics as a paramedic supporting BLS and ALS patients in a busy 911 system.
Tiffany’s commitment to educating the next generation of EMS professionals is evident in her work as a paramedic instructor and evaluator at Glendale Community College (2015-2019), and as an AHA ACLS and BLS instructor with Midwestern University (2016-2019) and Banner Health (2017-2019).
She holds an associate degree in emergency response operations in paramedicine from Glendale Community College, where she also received her EMT and paramedic certification. She also is certified in HazMat, pharmacology, cardiology, ALS, ACLS, NRP and PEPP and in emergency medical operations for CBRNE incidents by the Department of Homeland Security.
