Glendale City Council Approves New Contract with Maricopa Ambulance
Maricopa Ambulance will continue to serve the citizens of Glendale. During its regular meeting on February 27, 2024, the Glendale City Council approved extending Maricopa Ambulance’s contract to provide emergency medical transportation services for 911 emergencies and special events within the city limits.
The two-year agreement allows the City to extend the contract for an additional four years after the initial term. It is subject to approval by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
The approval solidifies the City’s commitment to have Maricopa Ambulance continue to provide 911 EMS service and allows Maricopa Ambulance to provide backup support from its extensive interfacility ambulance fleet.
This agreement marks a continuation of the partnership initiated in 2022, reflecting both parties’ commitment to ensuring prompt and efficient emergency medical services for the residents of Glendale.
Maricopa Ambulance, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, provides 9-1-1 ambulance service response to communities representing one million people.
